Seven Lakes Snowmobile Club

Poker Run & Winter Carnival

HAS BEEN CANCELLED

NEWS ITEMS:

3/1 We have received a little snow and a lot of rain. Please stay off all trails and lakes. Temps today are in mid 40s.

THERE HAVE BEEN A NUMBER OF SNOWMOBILE THEFTS IN THE AREA RECENTLY.  IF YOU KEEP THEM IN AN ENCLOSED TRAILER PLEASE BUY A DECENT LOCK FOR YOUR TRAILER - ONE THAT FITS WHERE THE BALL GOES IS GOOD AND LOCK THE REAR OF YOUR TRAILER WITH A PADLOCK THAT CAN'T BE CUT WITH BOLT CUTTERS. SNOWMOBILE INSURANCE IS CHEAP - BUY SOME.

HERE ARE A COUPLE RECENT EXAMPLES:
1/11 I am just letting you know so you can warn the members of a theft at 2960 Province Lake Road. I had 2 snowmobiles and a red enclosed trailer stolen. The snowmobiles are a 2004 Polaris 800 classic touring 2 up black and silver VIN# SN1NT8CS14C406363 and a 2003 Polaris 550 air cooled classic touring Silver VIN# SN1SU5BS23C301409
The trailer is a Red Roadmaster V nose enclosed trailer with srtainless steel diamond plates in the front, it fits 2 snowmobiles with dual axles  VIN#5DT213G2711002760
Spreading the word maybe helpful for me but also helpful for everyone else. These thiefs took the time to get the snow pile out from in front of the trailer cut the lock, hook it up and haul it off.

1/2 The following sleds were stolen from the Balch Lake area in a two place enclosed Sno-Pro trailer, black cover with aluminum side rails, Trailer is longer than most to handle the black two up sled.
Two Ski Doo sleds, both 2001. Red Ski-Doo Deluxe 600. Miles approx 1200 VIN # 2BPS177421V000281 and a Grand Touring 500 Std. Black Two-up with adjustable back rest and heated hand rails. Miles Approx. 700.VIN # 2BPS180021V000360. $500 reward. contact paul.wharf@comcast.net
